Faiza Oulahsen fights climate change as a Program director and Head of Climate & Energy at Greenpeace Netherlands. She tries to make a difference behind the scenes through lobbying and building coalitions. At times on the foreground running campaigns with high-profile actions.
In 2013, the fight against oil drilling in the Arctic led to her imprisonment. After an action at a drilling platform of Russian oil and gas company Gazprom, she was locked up in a Russian cell for two months. In 2016 Faiza lead the #TTIPleaks, which proved to be a major blow for the damaging US/EU trade deal. Faiza joined Greenpeace in 2011 as one of the youngest campaigners ever. Before that she studied Political Science and International Relations.
