General d’armée aérienne (ret) Bernard Norlain a former fighter pilot of the French Air Force for 36 years. During his military career he was military adviser for two French Prime Ministers: Jacques Chirac and Michel Rocard, Commander of Air Defence Command then Air Combat Command, at the end Director of the Institute for National Defence High Studies.
When he retired he became Vice-President at Deloitte firm then Chairman and CEO of SOFEMA a French company for aeronautical equipments exportations.
Simultaneously he was Chairman of the National Defence Studies Committee
He is now Vice-President of Initiatives pour le Désarmement Nucléaire - IDN
